Often people are surprised to realise that re-roofing is an affordable option. Our quotations are provided completely free or charge. Our re-roofing projects include stripping the existing roof covering of your property. We will then fit new breathable membrane and timber battens together with all leadwork, gutters and associated work. Finally, we will fit new tile or slate.

Often the choice to fit slates or tiles onto your property can be dictated by cost. Slates are more expensive than tiles, however, some customers make the choice due to the look of them and personal preference.

There may also be a requirement from your council that your property has to be kept in-keeping with other properties in the street.

Can you see signs of fascia rot around the corners of your building?

Have the gutters failed?

When it comes time for fascia replacement it’s best to address both facia and guttering all at once. Why? To repair the fascia it is often not practicable or cost-effective to re-install the old gutters so its best to replace them at the same time.

The level of rot will determine how much fascia board we need to replace.

Whether a section runs up a gable will also determine how much we need to replace.

Rot extending out from the corners is the most common problem we encounter due to the gutter corners (or cast angles) failing with water constantly dripping down the fascia board.

On some jobs we replaced over 60 meters of fascia board. Replacing this much fascia board, particularity on a two story home, is no easy task.  Our skilled experts are used to working at heights, and can complete the job safely and efficiently for you.

Lead comes in a sheet roll and can be cut and shaped to suit different areas and angles.  It is often used to weather seal the join between two different materials, such as the join between roof tiles and the brickwork of a chimney, or where two angles of a roof meet in a valley.

Leadwork is common in South Wales because it’s so durable and we certainly need something that can stand up to our weather.

That’s why it’s smart to check for cracks, breaks and leaks before any problems escalate.
